"The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps." Proverbs 16:9
I think it's important for us to remember this verse as we prepare our hearts to share Compassion. As advocates, we must not become so caught up in making plans that we neglect to ask the Lord to direct our steps. Each day, we must be willing to surrender our plans and follow joyfully in the path God lays for us. If we ever hope to be effective in our ministry, we must give it to God.

Bite Back
"If you think you're too small to make a difference, try sleeping in a room with a mosquito." Mosquitoes carry malaria - a tropical disease that kills over 750,000 children each year. That's one child every 30 seconds!!!
The BITE BACK campaign is mobilizing youth around the country to provide mosquito nets to protect children from malaria. Let's be the generation that ends malaria.

One Act
When the darkness of abject poverty engulfs a place, the devil takes over. But in the middle of desperation, you can intervene. One act, one decision in Jesus name, is all it takes to allow hope to overwhelm the darkness.
Infant Mortality
Infant mortality - Nine million kids a year never make it to their fifth birthday. A solution to infant mortality is our Child Survival Program. This is an invitation to change the world. How will you respond?

One Meal One Day
So many people in this world are going hungry. Can you stand up for them? Put it on your calendar: October 20, 2010. That’s the day thousands of people across North America will skip a meal and give their unspent cash to Compassion Internationall to help feed hungry children around the world. And it’s the day that changing the world comes down to a simple equation: You + Small Action = Big Impact.
